Keeping in Step with Our Community
At the break of dawn, in the middle of the afternoon or at the first signs of twilight… something is always happening in the community!
Over the summer, Alliant Health Plans hit the road and traveled to Gainesville, Georgia, across the state line to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and back to our hometown in Dalton, Georgia – all in hopes to join the fun, provide education and share our goal: to improve community access to quality health care.
Georgia Summer Events
- The Times Hall About Health Expo (6/19/2024) – 100+ attendees participated in The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s expo, held at the Gainesville Family YMCA. Visitors received Alliant first aid kits, annual appointment and preventive health reminders, as well as information about annual exams being covered with Alliant’s plans.
- 4th Annual Catoosa Run, White and Blue 5k (7/6/2024) – 200+ runners participated in the Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce’s mission to encourage healthy/active living by running or walking the 2k and 5k. Participants received sunscreen, fist-aid kits and sunglasses from Alliant, as well as water from the Alliant Aid Tent to keep them hydrated.

The Chattanooga Market
- Red, White and Blueberries Day (06/30/2024)
- Peach Day (07/07/2024)
- Farmers’ Market Day (08/04/2024)
500 to 1,400+ attendees participated in The Chattanooga Market’s activities and visited vendors around the pavilion – including first-time vendor, Alliant Health Plans. Market-goers received fans, tote bags with goodies, as well as information about Alliant’s mission and expansion plans for select southern counties in Tennessee.
