Since its sweet-as-honey debut in 2017, the Lafayette Honeybee Festival has blossomed into a buzzworthy Walker County tradition—celebrating community spirit, local flavor, and the mighty role of our favorite pollinators. Busier than a hive, the festival brings folks together for a weekend filled with small-town pride and high-energy fun. Every year, thousands swarm downtown Lafayette to enjoy hands-on exhibits, toe-tapping live music, the ever-popular Queen Bee Pageant, delicious baking contests, and a classic car and tractor show that gets everyone buzzing.
