SoloCare Renewal FAQs

List of the most common questions about renewing your SoloCare plan.

Your current health plan will automatically renew on January 1, 2025. By paying the invoice you receive in December on time, you will activate your health coverage for 2025. Your new coverage will begin on January 1, 2025.

If your current SoloCare plan is no longer available in 2025, you will be placed on a similar plan for next year. If you do not like the plan that is assigned to you, you can select a different plan. You have until December 15, 2024, to choose a health plan that begins on January 1, 2025.

Your monthly premium may change. Login to your Alliant Health Plans Member Portal to see your renewal policy information and premiums. The Documents section of the portal will have the “2025 Policy and Premium Information” document containing your renewal information. The invoice you receive in December will reflect the total monthly premium for 2025.

If you receive an Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC), or subsidy, your APTC amount may change in 2025. You can update your account information in the state-run Georgia Access consumer portal at GeorgiaAccess.gov. Login to your Georgia Access consumer portal to update your information to make sure you receive the correct APTC.

Yes. You have until December 15, 2024, to choose a health plan that will begin on January 1, 2025. Visit GeorgiaAccess.gov to select a new plan. Beginning October 28, visit AlliantPlans.com to see your SoloCare plan options.

The following scenarios describe how to change your health plan for 2024:

Health Plans with a subsidy

  • Login to your state-run Georgia Access consumer portal at GeorgiaAccess.gov.
  • Talk to your broker or insurance agent, if you worked with one.

Health Plans without a subsidy

Your 2024 health plan is automatically renewed for January 1, 2025, and it’s automatically activated when you pay the invoice you receive in December on time. In other words, you can keep your current health plan by making your monthly premium payment by the deadline.

If your SoloCare plan is no longer available in 2025, you will be assigned a similar plan. If you do not like the plan that is assigned to you, you can select a different plan. You have until December 15, 2024, to choose a health plan that begins on January 1, 2025.

If you receive an Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC), or subsidy, your APTC amount may change for 2025. Your personal and plan selection information have been moved to the new state-run Georgia Access consumer portal. You may access your application at GeorgiaAccess.gov.  Login to GeorgiaAccess.gov to update your information and make sure you receive the correct APTC amount.

Yes, beginning with your December Auto Pay withdrawal, your monthly Auto Pay amount will be updated to reflect any changes to your premium for 2025.  Your Auto Pay premium payment for the invoice you receive in December will activate your new health coverage, which begins on January 1, 2025.

No. Your SoloCare plan gives you access to the Alliant Health Plans network. To search providers and facilities, visit AlliantPlans.com to search the Alliant Provider Directory.

If your child dependent turned 26 in 2024, they are no longer eligible to be a dependent on your health plan for 2025. They will be enrolled on their own health plan for 2025. Following CMS’s rules, they will be renewed into a health plan similar to their parents’ plan for 2024.

You will receive your 2025 ID card shortly after you receive your renewal letter. Your ID card will display the plan identified in your renewal letter. If you decide to select a new plan for 2025, you will receive a new ID card displaying the new plan.  In this scenario, please keep the ID card reflecting your new health plan for 2025.

No. Alliant Net Results remains your formulary for 2025.  We are moving to Prime Therapeutics as our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (also known as PBM) beginning January 1, 2025. You will be receiving a welcome letter in the mail from Prime Therapeutics in early October.
