{"id":7462,"date":"2024-04-15T16:35:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T16:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alliantplans.com\/?p=7462"},"modified":"2024-04-17T16:56:39","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T16:56:39","slug":"alliant-health-plans-response-to-change-healthcare-connectivity-issues-updates-on-claims-submissions-and-timely-filing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alliantplans.com\/es\/alliant-health-plans-response-to-change-healthcare-connectivity-issues-updates-on-claims-submissions-and-timely-filing\/","title":{"rendered":"Alliant Health Plans&#8217; Response to Change Healthcare Connectivity Issues: Updates on Claims Submissions and Timely Filing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Alliant Health Plans has been monitoring the situation with Change Healthcare (CHC) and communicating with them regarding resolution.&nbsp; While they have begun to restore some connections, they have not yet restored the EDI connection with all payers, including Alliant Health Plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Claims Submissions<br><\/strong>We continue to accept paper claims; however, the process of loading volumes of paper claims is time consuming.&nbsp; We have dedicated our resources to this process but our turnaround time on paper claims is requiring almost 30 days.&nbsp; We understand the impact this has on providers and continue to search for efficiencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminders for Paper Claim Submissions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Original Red\/White forms are required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please avoid staples<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handwritten claims cannot be accepted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service locations cannot be a PO Box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EDI Connectivity<br><\/strong>We are actively exploring options for EDI connectivity outside of CHC.&nbsp; As soon as we have connectivity with any open clearinghouse, we will begin ingesting electronic claims and will update providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to explore direct connectivity with Alliant through your closed clearinghouse or revenue cycle management software, please reach out to Provider Relations by emailing&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ProviderRelations@AlliantPlans.com\">ProviderRelations@AlliantPlans.com<\/a>.&nbsp; In your request, please include contact information for your vendor so we may properly evaluate the potential connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timely Filing Requirements<br><\/strong>Alliant Health Plans will review timely filing requirements on a case-by-case basis and will allow extensions as appropriate.&nbsp; Please contact your Provider Engagement Liaison with specific questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alliant Health Plans has been monitoring the situation with Change Healthcare (CHC) and communicating with them regarding resolution.&nbsp; While they have begun to restore some connections, they have not yet restored the EDI connection with all payers, including Alliant Health Plans.
