What you need to know about benefits, policies and procedures related to COVID-19

Because we understand that these challenging times can be confusing and frustrating, we are continually exploring ways to be flexible within the regulatory framework.  We will continue to notify providers as new developments emerge.

COVID-19 Testing:  Testing will be at no member cost-share.

Alliant Health Plans generally does not cover COVID-19 diagnostic, antigen, or antibody tests which are done at the direction of the member’s employer in order to obtain or maintain employment or to perform a member’s normal work functions, or for return to school or recreation activities. Click here for more information on the testing exclusion. 

COVID-19 Antibody Testing: Effective immediately, the following antibody testing codes will be covered at no member cost share: 86318, 86328 & 86769.

All changes noted are currently in effect and will remain in effect until at least 12/31/2020.
