Effective January 1, 2018 Adventist Health System will be out-of-network.
Adventist Health System (also known as Gordon Hospital, Murray Medical Center, Gordon EMS and Gordon Home Care & Gordon Physicians Group) terminated their participation with Alliant Health Plans. The termination goes into effect January 1, 2018. Despite the termination, we continue to encourage good-faith discussions for network participation.
If my provider is no longer in-network, how do I find an in-network provider?
Alliant members may choose from a robust network of providers. To find in-network providers, use the Find A Provider feature on our website or call Customer Service at (800) 811-4793 for assistance.

When does the Adventist Health System leave the Alliant network?
In accordance with the termination notice submitted by Adventist Health System, their facilities and providers will be out-of-network as of January 1, 2018.
Can I continue my care at Adventist Health Systems (Gordon, Murray or Gordon Physicians Group)?
Yes, in certain situations. Some members may access our Continuity of Care program and use these providers for a limited period. Members who may be eligible for the Continuity of Care program received notice on or around November 10, 2017. If you believe you are eligible but did not receive a notice, please call Customer Service at (800) 811-4793 and ask for a Continuity of Care Request form.
IMPORTANT: Members may choose to continue to see Adventist Health Systems (Gordon Hospital, Murray Medical Center, Gordon EMS, Gordon Home Care and all Gordon Physicians Group) providers for non-emergent care (not part of the approved Continuity of Care program) but should know that covered services will process according to their out-of-network benefits. Members who choose out-of-network providers will pay more for out-of-network care than if they receive care from an in-network provider. Refer to your Summary of Benefits and Coverage for details regarding out-of-network benefits. Remember, out-of-network providers may also bill you for the balance of their total billed charges, unlike in-network providers.
My plan has the PHCS wrap network. Can I see Adventist Health Systems providers?
Alliant has placed NO restrictions on accessing Adventist Health Systems (Gordon Hospital, Murray Medical Center, Gordon EMS, Gordon Home Care and Gordon Physicians Group) providers through a PHCS wrap network. However, continued participation in the PHCS network is a choice of the Adventist Health System and network changes may occur at any time. It is your responsibility to verify network participation before receiving services.
Where do I go for emergency treatment if I live in Gordon or Murray County?
In an emergency, Alliant members should always go to the nearest hospital. Emergency care remains a covered benefit. For additional information about emergency medical services, see your Certificate of Coverage.
